I've been perusing photos taken in 2017 around Wellington, New Zealand where I lived for almost 3 years with my husband. Makes me miss it. Wellington is on the southern coast of the North Island. At sunset you can glimpse mountain peaks on the South Island across the strait. The small village feel around here really grows on you. New Zealand is so small that it makes for a close-knit community feeling wherever you go.
Long exposure in Lyall Bay (we lived up on the hill to the right):
Moa Point - one of my favorite bays to visit around sunset. There was a lot of noise on this photo (taken with a Canon Rebel T5i with Tamron lens) but after some retouching I'm happy with it. It was fun to do a fresh edit of this one, lets me know I've learned something in the past couple years...
