So many different ways to see the same scene. I was fortunate to be able to spend four days at this location, offering all kinds of sunrise and sunset opportunities. Ben and I were discussing how the gypsum minerals in the lower basin have a reflective quality and cause the floor to take on the hue of the sky. Usually that is blue or light brown. One morning, this unusual color appeared. This stuff doesn't last long. Be prepared.
