Stained Glass

Jewish Temples are big into stained glass! and for a period of about 5-6 years... I did nothing but Bar and Bat Mitzvahs!!! and I loved shooting the kid's Temple Session, which is normally done during the week of the event, on a day that is NOT saturday! and I made it a point to use the stained glass as a background, or as a second subject of the image itself! These are some of my favorites.

Hey Frank,

I like the light from the stained glass, and also the poses. The poses really help make these.

Thanks guys!

In order to be Bar Mitzvahed... you get a date for it from your Rabbi... usually two years ahead! So for those 2 years, the kid has to study, study and study some more! Which is why I like to include the prayer book (Siddur) in some of the shots during the temple session... as it (at least for me!) has a great meaning, which goes towards becoming an responsible adult in the Jewish community.

Take care!
