As I was leaving Colorado to head back to California last week, I decided to go north instead of south.
So that took me to the Badlands of South Dakota, and from there it took me further north to Theodore Roosevelt NP in North Dakota. I had never been there before so it was fun to see a new National Park, and also fun to just explore a new place. I went there to do Milky Way timelapses, but I also just wanted to explore it and capture any other scenic beauty's the land might be hiding.
This is a 2 shot pano, with the ground layer coming from a twilight image, while the sky comes from about 1am.
