Theodore Roosevelt National Park

As I was leaving Colorado to head back to California last week, I decided to go north instead of south. :) So that took me to the Badlands of South Dakota, and from there it took me further north to Theodore Roosevelt NP in North Dakota. I had never been there before so it was fun to see a new National Park, and also fun to just explore a new place. I went there to do Milky Way timelapses, but I also just wanted to explore it and capture any other scenic beauty's the land might be hiding.

This is a 2 shot pano, with the ground layer coming from a twilight image, while the sky comes from about 1am.

ISO 3200
25 secs
f1.8
Nikon D850
Tamrom 14mm f1.8

All comments are welcome,

Jim

I like the balance of the light for the various parts of this image - nice processing.
Thanks Alan. I should have mentioned that is the Little Missouri River winding down below. Some people have mistaken it for a road.

OH my goodness Jim. With no skills in this area of photography it looks like pure magic. What an incredible image. It looks like another universe is about to begin.

Thank you so much Trent! I am humbled by your comments! With this being my first time to this National Park, and not really knowing what to expect I was really excited when I saw this spot where I could get the cliff and the Little Missouri River below.
