Three great S&S examples you’ve shared Doug, I particularly like the Eggshell Arch image. The Waterhole Canyon image is nicely captured and my favorite. The Upheavel Dome and the extending area beyond look very photographically interesting.very nice start as always, John. I always look forward to seeing this thread.

Alan "The Watchman" if you could take a chainsaw to the half tree on the right this would be what AI would produce as the perfect landscape location and light. KenThe Watchman in Zion National Park:

Gosh what a great idea - I always carry one with me in National Parks of courseAlan "The Watchman" if you could take a chainsaw to the half tree on the right this would be what AI would produce as the perfect landscape location and light. Ken
Alan, great and varied examples of S&S you’ve shared—the Watchman is my first favorite (of course!) but the Crescent Bay image is a very close runner-up! The Painted Hills image is another interesting image with its shadows and the sunlit foreground—nice! The Watchman in Zion National Park:

Jameel, two great images for this week’s task—beautiful light in your Monument Valley image, very nice. My favorite is the Death Valley sand dune with its elegant simplicity—remember this image for next week’s Thursday’s Task.A couple from me.
