I leans towards the color as well. Interesting how different the mood is with this image compared to he tighter version you posted first. I kind of prefer the tighter version of this scene.

Monika, I will take the color version, both are nice though. Personally, the allure of great America South West is in the unique red hues in the soil.

You might be surprised that I too prefer the color, but still want to see a B&W of the vertical comp. The color in the clouds leading back to the spire makes the color version, but doesn't show up in the B&W.

If I don't get to a B&W of the vertical today, it'll be late in the week. My eyes can only take so much after 10 hour driving days in the snow And I haven't even completely unpacked yet.

I actually prefer the B&W. For lake of a better way to put it, the colors look "dirty" and the B&W is cleaner for me.
