I leans towards the color as well. Interesting how different the mood is with this image compared to he tighter version you posted first. I kind of prefer the tighter version of this scene.

I like this wider view, those ripples are sweet, and I love the hint of gold in the clouds.

You might be surprised that I too prefer the color, but still want to see a B&W of the vertical comp. The color in the clouds leading back to the spire makes the color version, but doesn't show up in the B&W.

If I don't get to a B&W of the vertical today, it'll be late in the week. My eyes can only take so much after 10 hour driving days in the snow ;) And I haven't even completely unpacked yet.

I actually prefer the B&W. For lake of a better way to put it, the colors look "dirty" and the B&W is cleaner for me.
