Winter Sunrise in the San Juan Mountains

This view is not far from the Dallas Divide where most people shoot. And while I do like the Dallas Divide location myself, I like to change it up a bit once in a while. This is one of those nice quiet mornings where there is no one else around. It will be in sharp contrast to just 2 weeks from now when there will be 100 people shooting from the Dallas Divide.

Nice sunset and atmospherics although it looks like it might get a tad chilly tonight. I like the distant peaks almost pointing up to the clouds - nice example of the rule of thirds.
