Quite the collection of old gas pumps. Lots of memories in that collection - S&H Green Stamps and Nehi soda are some names I haven't run across for quite some time. 31.9¢/gal. gas is more than I paid to fill my old VW bus as an undergrad at Utah State University in the late 1960's.

All of my shots of Multnomah Falls have been from out over the Columbia River.

The golden grasses on the edges of the lake still give off a nice fall vibe that works well with the dusting of snow.

Thanks Jim - the fall colors up on the hillsides show where the Eagle Creek Fire left its mark. The low deciduous plants are the first to repopulate the burned forest. The lakes only exist because of the terraforming done when the freeway was built.

This is the view looking downstream on the Columbia River from out over the water near Multnomah Falls. Benson Lake is the small lake on the far side of the freeway that catches the outflow of Multnomah Falls before draining into Wahkeena Creek and joining the Columbia. Wahkeena creek and falls...
