I've been resurgent in my use of film the past couple of months and have been having a blast. I love my Leica M4P but I've been enjoying finding under the radar inexpensive point and shoot cameras on the cheap that take awesome photos. Case in point, the photos below were taken with a Canon ML...
Every year about this time, I pull out my ten year old IR converted Sony a6000. Still works great and I love how IR can turn the ordinary to extraordinary!
Under a harsh midday sun, San Jacinto Mountain from the Palm Springs Visitor Center. I spotted these yellow flowers and well, it just had to be photographed!
First time in Joshua Tree. First time shooting the stars with my Leica gear. Made a tone of mistakes even in this image but had a ton of fun. I had this area all to myself for several hours in total darkness.
Well, I'm back from my campaign hiatus. Recently I've been spending my time with different film and film cameras. It's been a fun journey. One of my favorite cameras at the moment is the Kodak Retina IIc. I picked this up in my local camera store for about $50 and then sent the camera to the...
My favorite camera pickup recently is the Kodak Retina IIc. It's has a fold out lens but when retracted, the camera will fit in a coat pocket. Best part of this camera is the lens . . . a Schneider-Kreuznach 50mm f/2.0 lens. Takes wonderful images.

I posted the images below as a comment to my last film thread. @JimFox asked if I could start a new post since it's likely to be seen my more folks.
Part of my film journey is the discovery of point and shoot cameras with decent optics. Some of the 'cult' cameras out there are way over priced...
So, I've been home for a couple of weeks now, the longest since the end of October. During my brief stint at home, skies have generally been gray and boring . . . that is until yesterday. So, it was time to take out the drone.
I've been on the road for the past month and now home for a few days. It feels like such a long time since I've visited here and flown my drone. Mother nature was looking out for me tonight so the Mavic 3 Pro got to spread its wings. Sorry I have not been a very active member lately . . .

I've been home a couple of weeks and there's been nothing but gray skies. This morning, the sun briefly came out during hazy morning so I took the dog for a walk to the east side of the lake.
Over the past couple of months I have been exploring film (again). It's been 25 years since I've shot any film but I'm having a blast. Color film gets developed at a local lab and I scan the images. I'm developing my own black and whites using developers like Caffenol (Instant coffee) and...
Over the past couple of months, I have resurrected and started shooting some film cameras that were in a display case. It had made for a lot of fun shooting film again. I thought, why not have a thread where we post film images? Anyone else out there still shooting film? Let's see your...
Wow, this was hard but here are my 10 best of the year. It was a good year . . .
#1 - Summerland Sunrise - We spent the month of February in Summerland, CA to get away from MN winter. I walked this beach every morning
#2 - North Shore of Lake Superior - The greatest Northern Lights display...
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the light coming through a window across his face and quickly snapped a couple of causal portraits. A quick reminder to always be ready, you never know . . .
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
