Here's my first images with the Celestron Origin, one a slight crop of the other. M51 Whirlpool Galaxy Bortle 5 skies. 20 minutes total integration of 10 second exposures. My first process in Pixinsight so please be kind! I know I can do much better with Pixinsight in the future...

After waiting several months, it finally arrived. Now I need some clear skies. Can’t wait to learn what this scope can do.

We've been having tons of rain and many areas are flooded resulting in evacuations. I'm high up on a hill and safe but many are forced to abandon their flooded homes. The rain finally stopped and some clearing at sunset gave images of hope.

This one was taken a few minutes later than my previous post. I like the symmetry and the colors in the sky seem to really pop here.

After a series of showers and thunderstorms, a clearing with the sun poking through.

What could be better than a rainbow followed by a fabulous sunset.

Storms passing through and as it was ending, the sun was shining but it was still raining. Certainly, there must be a rainbow so I looked to the east and there it was.

This image was captured with my Kodak Retina IIc and Kodak 200 film. Same night as my other recent post of the sunset haze due to Canadian wildfires.

The shifted from the South to the Northwest. With the change came the haze from wildfires in Canada.
