There is a decent campground there with showers, but forget running into town for supplies, there's nothing around. I have stayed there a few times and loved it. Good astro location too! Nice detail you captured in the "cathedrals". Did you also shoot at night?
This is my favorite of the Toadstool Hoodoos near Paria, Utah. It's the first one you see hiking in from HWY 89, but you will find many more as you continue hiking north. A great place to spend a few hours with a camera!
If you're heading west on AZ HWY 160, just east of Kayenta, you'll pass this view. Several volcanic plugs, lined up in a row to the north, several miles apart. One of the distant peaks is Agathla, sacred to the Navajo People.
I doubt any sailor has suffered through any peril on this stretch of the Colorado River near Moab, Utah, but there are rapids in both directions eventually. 665nm converted Nikon DSLR.
Thanks guys! The proper name is Marquam Hill, but it got the name Pill Hill because of all the hospitals crammed onto the one hill. Snow days were always memorable there.😪
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
