Here is an old image taken at Silver Lake Flats. Never happy with the muddy looking sky. Not sure I like it yet
As I was going through old files i found this one from an eastern sierras trip in 2014 . This is I believe north lake.
I was drawn to the grasses but eventually the harmony of grass and trees presented itself.
I realize this is out of season but the serenity seems appropriate for this Easter day

this is my only trip to möbius arch in the Alabama Hills. I was lost and late so I had to wait for a position under the arch

Sorry if you saw a previous post bumbling along. I don't have the hand eye coord, to write this on a tablet, so I had to get downstairs to a real computer

this is from a pull out on highway 12 just above the Escalante bridge. I was camping at Calf Creek and got up for a sunrise here
Time to pile on with your revisited images. More than one is fine.
This is an image from the high Uinta's. I was shooting Mt Hayden to the east when I saw this scene to the north west. The DR was always too severe for a good image, So I tried it again with DXO, ACR and Topaz.
I must say, DXO...
I think Zion is the most beautiful park in Utah, but the crowds and busing have kept me out in recent years. My wife and I frequently stay in the lodge as we did this year. I was able to hike up the canyon across the road from the lodge. This is the emerald pools area. The pools were pretty dry...
This is from a trip in May 2014. My grandson and I were on our way to Chicken Corners when I spotted these shapes and stopped to capture it. Never a hard image to process, but I wanted to see how it looked with newer tools.
I was seeking a way to get from Goblin Valley to Factory Butte via Little wild horse canyon. I found the route but was stopped by the water crossing at muddy creek.
On the way I saw this scene which I really liked.

This is from my archives, I am not sure I have ever shown it before. Taken in 2013 with a 5Dmk3 and 16-35 lens. I worked to avoid parallax. These sorts of scenes are so busy it's hard to find a composition. I did not like the original, so I cropped it.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
