Acadia as seen from a small local town when my GPS was messing up on directions around Bar Harbor.

My wife and I were X-skiing at Lake Wenatchee yesterday. Just brought my iPhone since we were cruising in the trees except for this one view point of the lake.

I took this on a crazy day telemark skiing in 1980 in very icy conditions near Chamonix France. I visited for Christmas skiing but snow conditions were terrible. I took a bad fall when I was on a cat track back at the ski area and broke a finger.

Taken a few years ago on a birthday climb and summit bivy on Keyes Pk. in the north Cascades near my house. The sunlit snowy peak on the left is one of my favorite spring ski runs.
