Taken a few years ago on a birthday climb and summit bivy on Keyes Pk. in the north Cascades near my house. The sunlit snowy peak on the left is one of my favorite spring ski runs.

The clouds came in as I plowed a path in deep snow over to the little tarn above Blue Lake in the North Cascades. The color version wasn't very exciting, but I was happily surprised when I finished the B&W conversion.
